Dove's Haven is an attractive two bedroom cottage for four. A front door leads into a large open plan area with combined living, dining and kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The first bedroom is a double and the second, a twin. The rooms upstairs are built into the roof-space of the building and thus have limited head-height and space. Each has a built-in wardrobe. Because of the limited space upstairs we are unable to fit a separate cot in Dove's Haven unless one of the twin beds is removed ... i.e. 4 persons in total including any infant. There is a connecting door to the next cottage which makes it possible for a group up to 10 people to stay.

 

Why is the cottage called Dove's Haven?

When we first started our business here this barn was used by numerous doves and pigeons which roosted in the rafters. We now have a small dovecote outside.
